Pracownia Scenografii

Program pracowni zakłada interdyscyplinarność działań – pracę w pracowni, realizacje projektów w przestrzeniach zewnętrznych, współpracę instytucjami kultury, ze studentami innych uczelni i artystami.

Pracownia jest otwarta dla studentów wszystkich kierunków, także programu ERASMUS oraz Study in English. Zakładając zainteresowanie szeroko rozumianym teatrem, student rozwija własne koncepcje projektowo-artystyczne. W Pracowni Scenografii student kształci się w kierunku projektowania przestrzeni dla różnych typów scen (m.in. konwencjonalnej, plenerowej, postindustrialnej, performance). Punkt wyjścia do projektowania stanowią teksty dramatyczne, aktualne problemy społeczne, cytaty oraz hasła. Pracownia jest miejscem poszukiwań i eksperymentów podejmowanych przez studentów wobec koloru, gestu, symbolu i światła, jako elementów współtworzących, a także samodzielnie kreujących przestrzeń. Studenci biorą udział w konkursach, festiwalach oraz pokazach odbywających się w Polsce i za granicą.

The studio’s program assumes interdisciplinary activities – work in the studio, implementation of projects in outdoor spaces, cooperation with cultural institutions, with students from other universities and with artists. The studio is open to students of all faculties, including ERASMUS and Study in English. Assuming interest in the broadly understood theater, the student develops his own design and artistic concepts. In the Stage Design Studio, the student learns to design space for various types of scenes (including conventional, outdoor, post-industrial, performance). The starting point for design are dramatic texts, current social problems, quotes and slogans. The studio is a place of searches and experiments undertaken by students in the face of color, gesture, symbol and light as elements co-creating and also independently creating space. Students take part in competitions, festivals and shows taking place in Poland and abroad.
