Program pracowni oferuje studiującym szerokie spektrum eksploracji malarstwa jako języka plastycznej ekspresji.
Tym, co dla nas najważniejsze jest pobudzanie i kształtowanie wyobraźni, która warunkuje wszelką kreację oraz towarzyszenie studiującym w drodze do budowania ich własnego języka plastycznego. Oba te aspekty nieodzownie związane są z nabywaniem umiejętności manualnych. Program pracowni skonstruowany jest zatem w oparciu zarówno o zadania studyjne oraz o tematy hasłowe proponowane przez prowadzące, a także powstające w oparciu o własne koncepcje studiujących.
Ponadto jednym z zadań realizowanych w pracowni przez cały rok jest analiza różnorodnych aspektów kultury tradycyjnej poprzez pryzmat sztuki. Każdego roku temat dotyczy innego regionu. Co przy tym bardzo istotne, zależy nam przede wszystkim na indywidualnym podejściu osób studiujących do zagadnienia związanego z kulturą ludową. Analiza zatem poparta jest każdorazowo wcześniejszym jej rozpoznaniem (prezentacje, wykłady itp.), a także badaniem na danym obszarze w ramach wspólnych, pracownianych plenerów.
Osoby studiujące w pracowni mogą zapoznać się z różnorodnymi technikami malarskimi. Są też wspierane we własnych, także eksperymentalnych poszukiwaniach, niezależnie od medium malarskiego i zainteresowań. Co bardzo ważne, stawiamy na indywidualny rozwój przy jednoczesnym podkreśleniu, że pracownia jest wspólną przestrzenią twórczej pracy dla osób studiujących na wszystkich kierunkach UAP.
Program of the studio offers a big spectrum of exploration of painting as a language of visual expression. The most important thing for us is to develop the imagination, which conditions all creation. We also want to accompany students on the way to building their own artistic language. Both of these aspects are indispensably related to the acquisition of manual skills. The studio’s program is therefore constructed on the basis of both study tasks, such as still life, nude or landscape (especially for first-year students) and slogan topics proposed by the teachers, as well as based on the students’ own concepts.
Moreover, one of the topics that we are working on throughout the academic year is the analysis of various aspects of folk culture through the prism of art. Each year the topic is related to a different region. What is very important, we care about the individual approach of students to the issue related to folk culture. Therefore, the analysis is supported each time by its earlier diagnosis (presentations, lectures, etc.), as well as research in a specific area during the plein-airs.
Students will get to know how to use a variety of painting techniques. They will be also supported in their own, also experimental searches, depending on the painting medium and interests. We focus on the individual development of students, but at the same time we want to show that the studio is a common space of creation for people studying at all faculties of UAP.
